Bitplastic Bitcoin Debit Card – www.bitplastic.com – Revolutionary or Ripoff?

Bitplastic Bitcoin Debit Card. Revolutionary Or Ripoff?
I’m a believer in bitcoins, I think it has great use for normal people like us especially in the seemingly fragile state of the worlds economys
But bitcoins still produces some problems of their own. To date Ive been ripped off a few times now

Someone hacked my Mt Gox bitcoin account and removed over $1000
Ive been caught by the Paypal charge back scam selling my bitcoins
Raxcard.com have ripped me off, claiming they give me the wrong bitcoin wallet address
after I had transferred the BTC. however my mining efforts have made it back and some more.

My bitcoin spreadsheet now states positive, so I’m on the journey to find a Bitcoin Debit Card
to access my successful investment

Bitplastic is my next trial. After the Raxcard Ripoff, I’m hoping bitplastic can be
“The Bitcoin Knight in shining armor” I’m looking for, I must say  at first I was skeptical.

Youll find a small diary below on the costs and fees plus my experience

Go To Bitplastic Click Here

I joined bitplastic.com and transfered some Bitcoins in, (just enough to purchase a debit card and load it with some cash)
Bitplastic state on their webpage, the wait is 2-3 weeks

8th December 2013Deposited Bitcoins
8th December 2013Purchased Bitcoin Debit Card
20th December 2013I sent an email query about the progress of my card – 12 days since order
21st December 2013 –  My Reply was that they were just waiting for more cards – had just been posted
22nd December 2013Bitplastic Bitcoin Debit Card Price Rise
24th December 2013Discounted Bitplastic Bitcoin Debit Card Offer To Me
26th December 2013Email Address In My Profile Section has been changed to kekecmojca@live.com (and I didn’t do it)
26th December 2013Successfully Withdrew BTC from my account, fee = 0.003 BTC (Approx $3)
3rd January 2014Bitplastic Bitcoin Debit Card has arrived (Yea-Ha – Im very excited) – 26 Days from order / 13 Days postage (Canada To Australia)
3rd January 2014I noticed that the Bitplastic Bitcoin Debit Card is now priced back at 0.2 BTC
4th January 2014Deposited 0.1 BTC (Approx $100) Into Bitplastic and requested it to be put into my new card
4th January 2014Got a fast reply. The process is all done inside your Bitplastic members area (fee is 0.005 BTC to load 1 BTC) Ended up sending 0.095 BTC
5th January 2014I received conformation that the money has been deposited to my Bitplastic Bitcoin Debit Card (Takes 24-48hrs to complete)
7th January 2014The Money has deposited the bank account attached to The Bitplastic Bitcoin Debit Card
7th January 2014The Total Fee for The Bitplastic Bitcoin Debit Card

0.2 BTC For Debit card (around $200), Total Fees is around $20 for dealing with $100,
but as it is 0.005 BTC to load the card, which is a set amount unlike Mt Gox who charge 22%.
for example lets base off  say $1000, or approx 1 BTC to keep it simple and Ill use the costs associated with my transaction

Mt Gox = $220 ( at 22% of $1000) for bank deposit (4 week plus wait)
Bitplastic = $20 (At 0.020 of $1000) for Visa use or Cash withdrawal (3 days wait)

$200 Dollars the difference (or approx 0.2 BTC – The cost of the debit card)
this is based off todays pricing

So compared to Mt Gox, it would only need you to cash in $1000 or 1 BTC
and the card pays for itself, Similar to Virwox and their process.
Bitplastic Bitcoin Debit Card is the better option though the card is costly.

Go To Bitplastic Click Here

So lowering your fees is about doing larger transactions when loading your Bitplastic Bitcoin Debit Card
is around $20 – $25 total fee (Not including ATM fees) as far as I can work out.
remember it has a $200 cash withdrawal limit and $1000 Visa limit

8th January 2014I am very happy to say I just purchased $10 of items from a corner store using Visa on my Bitplastic Bitcoin Debit Card, “IT WORKS!!”

I used the Visa option, put in the pin number that Bitplastic sent me and it worked perfect

Shazam!!! When Comic + Movie = Profit. Adding Comics To Your Investments

Shazam_1

A Friend just bought Shazam 1 for $200 USD, I thought that was quite a high price for this 9.4 cgs rated comic. It was worth a third of that price. Questioning him I asked why he paid so much, his answer was easy. “they just announced theyre releasing a Shazam movie in 2016 or 2017. Hes not the only one thinking like this. I have recently seen a number of 9.2 and above getting $200+, a huge amount over their catalogue worth of the valuation websites. Either the comic value webpages have it wrong or something is making the price and demand rise for Shazam 1

Dwayne The Rock johnson has been confirmed to act in the movie, he was first thought to be playing Shazam himself but on latest reports he will be playing supervillian and equally as strong “Black Adam”. The character Shazam was rumoured to have an appearance in the upcoming Batman vs Superman movie as a way to introduce him to the public. The worlds mightiest mortal will then move to the centre stage where he will star in his own movie as both DC and Marvel start to unleash some of the other lesser known super heroes outside the usual mainstream Batman, Superman, Hulk, Spiderman, Wolverine, Ironman etc Shazam is that superhero. incredible powers, strength that rivals superman, if the effects are done correctly it will be a feast for the eyes like nothing seen.

I did my research and the value of Shazam 1 according to comic value sights is around $80 USD for a 9.4 (what my friend bought). He paid $200 – http://comicbookrealm.com/series/4448/0/Shazam!
This webpage is already at $130 US – https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=180911. On ebay a Shazam 1 comic is selling for $195 & $208 USD. The asking price is already on the rise and as the movie gets closer, so to will the price raise higher in theory.

Check Ebay for Shazam 1 now – click here

When writing this another 9.4 Shazam 1 comic sold for $160 USD so even if my friend has purchased above price for now, its steady price improvement will certainly catch up and surpass the $200 he paid

Investing In Australian Art – Pro Harts Orange Ants Nest – Investment Alternatives

hart-pro-orangeants

Pro Harts – Orange Ants is valued at $8275 (2013). This Orange Ants is a more favoured variety of Pro Harts Ant Style paintings. with many just having the now Famous “Broken Hill Ants” marching across the canvas, this version has them entering and leaving the nest creating depth in the centre and business around the opening and a seperating orange background that creates a frame of its own. The bright orange dust draws you in and the eye is drawn to the centre of the picture where the activity is, Its bright, simple and a great example of a piece you could hold as a future original australian art investment.

Investing in Australian Artist such has Pro Hart can be a very rewarding choice. Pro Hart has a variety of paintings that can be bought from australian scenery to artistic Ant & Dragonflies, Mining paintings and various other masterpieces come out of one of Australias most recognisable artist. Pro Hart painted some complex paintings and then some other very simple art. The simple art has got a major jump with a version his Dragonfly And Ants Paintings making it to an add that was frequently played on our local tv station (back in the time when we only had a choice of 2 stations.

Everyone who grew up in that era remembers the cry from Pro Harts Cleaner ‘Oh Mr Pro Hart!!!!!” The cleaner then undertakes a massive cleaning job, Thanks to Stainmaster brand, the carpet ending in it being spotless. It was a clever add, it stuck in your brain, but it give Pro Hart an uncomparable advantage as an artist whos simpler style become well known from the add. this was at a time of radio vs TV for entertainment (Internet wasnt known to most). It was great advertising and even better publicity for Pro Hart.

Pro Hart Stainmaster Ad 2006
No Australian Artist got that much good publicity or national coverage. He become a household name and I would even bet that if you asked someone of that time the question “Whats The Name Of An Australian Artist” Pro Hart would be a name mentioned on most occasions other front runners would have been Rolf Harris who currently is having his art destroyed or thrown out due to recent indescent dealings with children conviction in the UK..
On the otherhand Sid Nolan from his Ned Kelly painting made the front cover of the Australian Folk Album The Bold Bushranger by Lionel Long  amoung many other achievements

Lionel Long Bold Bushranger

and helped boost the painting series popularity.
Finally Ken Done is what many housewifes would have said due to his range of bedspreads towels and linen that had been released and went through a craze in Australia during the 90’s. Ken Dones bright colours and less attention to detail but more attention to shapes, colour and distortion as pictured below, appealed to many and rose his profile as an artist. Pro Harts advertisement appearance did the same for Dragonflies and Ants series in which a number where released, and TV was the king back then. I remember even joking with others trying to copy the catch frays in an accent with all my intended audience laughing and then spagetti power slide across the carpet. It stuck

KD_image

Another sad factor is that an artist doesnt really make great value from their paintings  until they pass away. Death adds fame & mystery into the mental landscape of a painter, a greater interest creates higher prices due to more competition from potential buyers. Its a shame many of these amazing masters at their craft never saw the amazing prices original paintings from the greats will reach. Pro Hart is one such painter, he passed away in 2006.

Pro Harts combination of australian icon pictures, a huge range in his portfolio of both paintings and style. A popular TV appearance that boosted his publicity in comedic memorable way, even ending with a well repeated catch frase, and the unfortunate fact that we have lost this australian master adds up to his paintings raising in value and investors having a chance to own one of Australias favourite painters while his painting prices are still reachable to the average investor

1971 Penfold Grange, Bin 95 Shiraz, Improving with age as an investment and a wine

pfg 1971

The 1971 Penfolds Grange Bin 95 Shiraz will be one of Australias Great wines with an already impressive reputation that includes, “One of the great Grange vintages. For many years this vintage set the standard” wickmans.net.au
The 1971 Penfold Grange Bin 95 Shiraz won a gold medal in the “Wine Olympics In Paris” and this is one of the reason it has and will continue to gain respect in the wine drinkers world. A wine professional will pay for a well kept old wine and a wine Olympics Gold Medal winning wine (The best in the world at its time) will certainly get a higher price the more it ages. Currently you will be looking at $1400 AUD for a bottle of “The Champion” but it was only recently $1200 would bag this beauty. Prices have already rose, and the will continue.

The 1971 Penfolds Grange Shirz also gets a mention on the wikapedia page for its achievement – Click Here

A solid reputation, a world class performance, a continual rise in price (They originally sold for $10 AUD) and amoung the worlds great wine makers – Max Shubert it makes sence that the future holds good thing for the 71.
If you take a look at the wickmans Penfold Grange Values, you can find that when the chart was last updated, the 1971 Penfolds Grange Bin 95 Shiraz has a maximum price of $1100 – Click Here.
But a small visit to ebay, at the time of this article, $1300 to $1400 is the asking price – Click Here

Every now and then well intentioned advice does work out – A Sterling client brought in four well cellared but ullaged bottles of 1970 and 1971 Grange Hermitage from the family cellar. By chance, the Penfolds Re-corking Clinic was in town that very week! The following week the client returned with four bottles of signed, sealed and certified clinic Grange – A significant bonus in terms of improved value and perfect certainty for the auction buyer I have seen over 20 years in the wine auction business, and only two wines have ALWAYS been in the forefront – Penfolds Grange Hermitage 1971 and 1976
(Taken from serling Wine Auctions) Lyndens Picks

In 2008 Penfolds Grange 1971 Bin 95 Shiraz was ranked 28th at a price of $1160 on the Lyndons 2008 Australias Top Wines ListClick Here,
In 2011 Penfolds Grange 1971 Bin 95 Shiraz was ranked 30th but was now averaging $1572 on the Lyndons 2011 Australias Top Wines ListClick Here for printable pdf
So in 3 years it has lost 2 places, but what we are interested in is the price, a rise of $412 in 3 years. meaning an investment of $1160 in 2008 would have returned a $137 per year maturity for 3 years or 11.8%pa ( 35.5% total) return. not bad at all. The question is will it retain this constant gain it has enjoyed? if it has, we would be looking at prices of just under $2000 at the time of this article. currently its most a $1300-$1500 asking price.

It appears that the price has sit at the moment but I think it will make another price surge very soon in the near future. Its rarity, reputation and Peter Gago, Penfolds Chief winemaker and current custodian of Grange, leads the Penfolds team at most of the re-corking clinics. His belief – Grange 1971 and 1976 are still improving with age – and he would know!

Research is essential for choosing and storing an older wine, if your a beginner, its easy enough to do through google, as a base, A Penfolds Grange Shiraz bottle needs to sit between 168c – 18*c.  if your going to purchase any wine for investment, correct temperature and humidity count. Capital cities have wine storage facilities or buy yourself a temperature controlled wine fridge, you will find some on ebay by clicking here or visit your local fridge store. For you to get the most from your investment, they need to be kept in a top storage area, be it a professional place or a home wine fridge.

Why Buy The 1959 Penfolds Grange Bin 46 “Hidden Grange” And Its Not To Drink It!!! – Alternative Investments

Penfold Grange 1959, Bin 46 is developing to be one of the Australian wine heavyweights with asking prices increasing and demand still high.
What is it that makes this such a fascinating Shiraz amoung a brotherhood of Australian wine classics in the Penfold Grange Family?
Its the third of the hidden series, The bin 46 range

Below are the 3 Hidden Granges with their lower and upper prices from http://www.wickman.net.au/Grange_Prices.aspx#.VJQn2f94Ks
that were made in limited numbers due to them being “Unauthorised Granges”

Penfolds Bin 113 Grange Hermitage 1957 Bottle $8,100 $10,200 First of the hidden Granges
Penfolds Bin 46 Grange Hermitage 1958 Bottle $14,000 $18,000 Second of the hidden Granges
Penfolds Bin 46 Grange Hermitage 1959 Bottle $2,200 $3,100 Last of the 3 hidden granges

The 1959 Penfolds Grange Bin 46 Hidden Grange

Why Are They Called A “Hidden Grange”?

The first vintage of Penfolds Grange was made on an experimental basis in 1951 by winemaker Max Schubert, while he was employed by Penfolds Wines. Having toured Europe in 1950, Schubert implemented wine-making techniques observed in Bordeaux upon his return, aiming to create a red wine able to rival the finest Bordeaux wines both in terms of quality and ageing potential.[2]Individual bottles of the 1951 vintage are still held by collectors; one sold at auction in 2004 for just over A$50,000. The first vintage to be commercially released was the 1952 Penfolds Grange was styled as a powerful still wine in an age when fortified wines were in fashion. Negative reviews by wine critics and poor commercial prospects for the wine led Penfolds management in 1957 to forbid Schubert from producing Penfolds Grange,
but Schubert persisted in secret through 1959.
As the initial vintages aged, however, their true value came to be appreciated, and in 1960 the management instructed Schubert to restart production, oblivious to the fact that Schubert had never stopped production and had not missed a vintage. – taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penfolds_Grange

Behind the legendary name Penfolds Grange lies Australian wine visionary Max Schubert. Officially listed as a Heritage Icon of South Australia, this multi-regional masterpiece Shiraz sits comfortably as the king of all Australian red wines. Showing power, concentration and balance, Penfolds Grange is easily the peer of all of Bordeaux’s grand Chateaux and Burgundy’s Grand Cru. The 1959 Grange is a dark cherry dominated blend of 90% Shiraz and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Still showing notes of bitter chocolate and marmalade.

The Barry O’Farrell “Grangegate” Resignation

Not only has our wine appeared from a secret range, now it has caused a resignation of a high level Australian political figure. Our 59 has become a trouble maker. The recent resignation of Barry O’Farrell over a bottle of 1959 Penfolds Grange Bin 46 Shiraz has created another legend to the already “Hidden Grange Story” Nicknamed “Grangegate“, Adding another dimension to the already legendary Australian wine. Full Barry O’Farrell Story here from ABC News

While the NSW Liberal Party finds itself mired in chaos over questions whether former premier O’Farrell misled the Independent Commission against Corruption or not, there are two words everyone is lapping up — Penfolds Grange.

Why Invest In The Penfolds Grange Bin 46, 1959?

As weve been investigating, there are 3 Hidden Granges. The Penfolds Grange 1957 Bin 113 Shiraz is selling for $10200 (A serious investors price). The Penfolds Grange 1958 Bin 46 Shiraz (The second hidden grange) can fetch an amazing $18000 (Also serious investors money) and The Penfolds Grange 1959 Bin 46 Shiraz asks a price of $3100, its an achievable amount to invest and may also have the greatest growth potential so get in now. Dont forget storage, you may loose your investment due to bad storage. spend a couple of hundred dollars and by a small temperature control wine fridge, its a great investment to look after your investment
Currently as I am writing this article a week before christmas in 2014, I have done a small search to find a bottle of  The Penfolds Grange 1959 Bin 46 Shiraz,

I found a bottle at Dan Murphys for $4850 https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_383961/penfolds-grange-1959

The second I found On Ebay, The seller was chasing $7590 – http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Penfolds-Grange-Shiraz-1959-Red-Wine-Clinic-BIN-46-/231104510558?pt=AU_Wine_Alcohol&hash=item35cee6fa5e

The third also on ebay is asking $3895 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PENFOLDS-GRANGE-VINTAGE-1959-BIN-46-GRANGE-GIFT-BOX-RED-WINE-FREE-POSTAGE-/301446623344?pt=AU_Wine_Alcohol&hash=item462f9e7070

Prices already above the $3100 asking price at the beginning of my study, in such a small period of time and the answer is easy, they are becoming rarer and rarer, each time one is consumed the others rise in price (In theory)
Each time one has been stored incorrectly and is ruined, the others go up in price. They can never be repeated, the amount of the sectet granges released to friends was a limited amount, Its the reason the 1957 will get $10200, The 1958 gets $18000 and why one of the above sellers are asking $7590. He knows he just have to wait around and the price will eventually reach his asking price. Its just a matter of time, which is also the arguement why it is such a great chance to get in now why the price is achievable for us financial mortals who are not professional wine enthusiasts or professional collectors.

The 2000 $1 / 10c Mule Coin – Alternative Investments

Mulecloseup

Quickly becoming a famous Australian coin, The 2000 $1 / 10c Mule Coin is becoming one of the must have coins as an alternative investment or a coin collecting fan

My regular income means I receive many coins, so I was thinking how some coins are worth so much more than their face value, it started a study into the chance of finding rarer modern coins that have sellable value or future investment potential, The 2000 $1 / 10c Mule Coin is that very coin and the simple act of flicking a dollar coin over and looking for the double rim border on the head side can turn out to be the best 5 seconds you have ever spent. Since I started my search, I have found 3, but I do live in the state of Western Australia, the very state they were released into.

Im saving mine as I am a believer the future value has greater payoff but to think when I brought home my pay, that one coin increased my pay value by around $400 at the time, the 2000 $1 / 10c Mule coins that I found were in 2012 (2) and the last in Feb 2013. Its been a great surprise but as I said, even in the lower grade, I think the future investment is where money can be made

Whats A Mule Worth?

Its a question that will continually change as they are continually rising in value, at the time of this article they range from $500 – $700 for the low grades, higher grades are starting to reach very impressive prices.
Their value really comes down to how many their are floating around in existence. there are some different thoughts on the amount. some reputable coin & note value books say only 400, other webpages have quoted 2000 or even up to 6000.
even at 6000, this coin is a very low release, coin circulation is in the 100000’s to the 1000000’s these days

Australia has some legendary famous coins, most agree that the 1930 penny is the king of them all. The 1930 penny is still buyable from coin collectors or ebay but you will pay big sums for the chance to own it. the low grades pull around the $25000 price tag. $25000 for a coin that has around 3000 left. Its 84 year old history have seen many damaged and lost so its an Australian Treasure to own. So how does the 2000 $1 / 10c mule coin stack up?

The 2000 $1 / 10c mule coin vs The 1930 Australian penny

Topping the 1930 penny is an almost impossible task, history, value and part of a previous money system used by this country, its a classic, no doubt about it. The 2000 $1 / 10c mule coin is the modern version of the 1930 Penny. Its now 14 years old (Still a child), has increased its value by at least 500 times, the fact its a mistake release that slipped through the system almost makes it an outlaw, and of course the disputed release number (400, 2000 or 6000).

The release amount is the key to its increase in value for the future. A coin thats had 84 years to mature, that has a 3000 coins known reaches $25,000 at lowest value to over $1,500,000 for the highest. What does a coin that has 400, 2000 or 6000 released fetch? If you were to base it on the 1930 penny (but we are not considering many other factors that could also change the value) it would be something like this from lowest grade to highest.

3000 coins = $25,000 – $1,500,000
6000 coins = $12,500 – $750,000
2000 coins = $37,500 – $2,250,000
400 coins   = $187,500 -$11,250,000

noone can accurately guess, and thats what it is, A guess but the future could hold a potential fortune even for the low grades at 6000 coins you may bag $12500, and the amount just rises and rises for the better grades or lower circulation, and its totally possible. The time frame will be the big guess. How long it will take to get there? its enough of a reason for me to put them away and take that gamble, theyre worth $500+ now, I believe they will worth much more in the future and become one of the Australian Coin Legends. So even if its an ebay buy, the coins rarity, uniqueness and lower release mean it will be a coin you will be happy to own.

Currently its a $500 – $700 gamble, and I say gamble because no-one can guarentee these prices but it puts up a good arguement, so if taking the risk on this coin is worth the price, get in there now before it escapes an achievable amount of money to save for the average person in Australia, It has the makings of an Australian classic, and a very sought after coin who if you are the seller may be rewarded many times over with some patience.

I know 2 years ago I could buy a coin on ebay for $350 and there were many for sale, today there are 4. 3 are PGS graded and are asking $1000 to $2000 dollars for them, the other is a low grade asking $750 (with 15 offers of a lower price), hes staying strong. Check out ebays 2000 $1 / 10c mule coin for sale right now – Click Here

At the time of writing this another non-graded 2000 $1 Mule Coin just sold for $732 – Click Here

They are becoming rarer to purchase, and the asking price is raising plus sellers are certainly not short of buyers.

Updated December 2018

Almost considered Carnival Glass Royalty, the Rare Northwood Strawberry Design in Ice Blue is one of the most sought after pieces in the carnival glass world
A 9 inch Ice Blue Carnival glass plate turned heads when the unsuspected owners started their auction at $5 on ebay. the auction ended at $16,237.55 USD in 2007 this was backed up when a previous example sold for $23,000 USD in 1995 and $10,000 USD in 2011. With only 4 known to exist (2 in perfect condition & 2 slightly damaged). It just shows the rarity of the Ice Blues  amongst the top end carnival glass collectors. It is a story that has fascinated me and alerted carnival glass collectors to the profit a rare carnival glass piece can bring , not to mention the beauty thats worth admiring

A 9 inch Stippled, Ruffled Bowl in Ice Blue, according to one of the worlds top informed carnival glass websites http://www.ddoty.com/strawberrynw.html have sold for $9900 USD in 2010 and $14000 USD in 2012 again proves how well the bowls stand with only 3-5 known worldwide a real carnival glass rarity and collectors dream, with one of these 3-5 is a very rare basketweave pattern in the background.

Another is said to have slight damage but still in amazing collectors condition. After all theyre just so rare. There has been a rumour that one of the 3-5 has been smashed but we cant verify the source at this time (We are interested on any feedback if this is true.) be it 7 or 9 rare plates, its a must for the serious collector

Bagging One Of The Big 7 Ice Blues

So where are they? If your chasing some Ice Blue strawberries, the USA is where to start, with 6 believed to be residing in the United States, 1 has made it to Australia and they come up for sale very rarely and no wonder, collectors tend to buy and hold the Northwood Ice Blue Strawberry Plate or Bowl, with the rarer bowl achieving a $14000 USD sale in 2012, the bowls are proving to get greater prices while the plate enjoys the power of reputation from the ebay sale story. With only 7 known examples of the ice blue strawberry, theyre known to grab attention and arent normally seen for sale very often always getting a great resale value, This is the very reason they cause a stir when they do come up for sale.

But with sales in 1995, 2007, 2010,  2011, 2012 there is still hope to become the owner of the strawberry rarity. Ebay must be the place to start, in fact click here and you may just find one now for sale

Ebay – Ice Blue Strawberry Carnival Glass

Looking At The Data

So Of the Big 7 Ice Blues, Whats the best investment?

The 9 Inch Ice Blue Stippled Strawberry Plate has had a strong start and rapidly decreased based on sales, overpriced start or did the buyers get a bargain? I think a bargain. With just 4 known, the low price payed in 2011 doesnt reflect its value. The Plate has sold for (In USD)
$23000 in 1995
$16000 in 2007 (an initial  -30% drop) = -4.3%pa
$10000 in 2011  (a further  -37% drop) = -9.25%pa

The plate has lost about -$812 (-5%) per year, this really doesnt make sense! I can only think that people in the carnival glass world werent aware of it availability to be owned or the last price was for one of the damaged examples. I would jump at the price to grab a $10000 9″ Ice Blue Northwood Stippled Strawberry Plate, I think the person who purchased this did their homework and got a bargain, a true rarity only 4 in existance. In fact if you are that person, please contact me I would love to hear your story on purchasing it. I think the next time one of these plates sell it will reach a total way above the $10k mark.

The 8-9 inch Stippled Strawberry Bowl Ruffled Bowl has been a growth story and based on the plate & bowl side by side, the last plate sale has been $10000 in 2011, with the bowl making $14000 in 2012. The bowl a suprised winner even with the plates reputation. The bowls data reads as (In USD)
$9900 in 2010
$14000 in 2012 (an initial +70% increase) = +35%pa

The bowl has made +$2050 (+35%) per year, its an amazing increase, an investors dream and the person who made the $14000 purchase still got a good deal, If the bowls interest remains high its price may have broken the $20000 mark some time before I wrote this. The next auction will tell, but its trending up while the plate has trended down. Either way there are some carnival glass pieces that will remain classics and the 2007 ebay story has made it one of the carnival glass greats and I believe with reputation cemented both the plate and the bowl will go up as they age.

A Well known maker in Northwood, a classic pattern, the rarest of colours, a delicate beautiful design and a great story behind it to cement its reputation will make a carnival glass collector or investor always want one of the the Big 7 Ice Blues, they will make Carnival Glass Royalty that no doubt will demand very high prices in he future, so owning or even holding one will be a sought after prize.

The Road to being a champion in any sport is tough,
however a champion in a combat art has the extra challenge of taking
hits that weaken the body and mind while playing a strategical game.
All this with the overwhelming fact that a well timed strike or kick can end the competition
via a knockout.

Taekwondo Sparring at a top level is tough, its precision timing, swift agility, explosive kicking
but when your on the receiving end, it can become punishing.
It takes a certain breed to want to compete at a blackbelt level,
and an even different breed to become the best. This is a story of experience and
the passion and drive of achieving that goal comes through

You’ll be taken on a fascinating story of the path to become Australia’s Best Blackbelt
that includes the preparation,  facing the worlds best in first international competition
and standing face to face with the current champion with a broken bone in his foot from a previous fight
and the question to pull out and drop the dream or the painfully demanding decision to fight anyway
against the best, for 9 minutes Youll Laugh, Cringe, Gasp and Cheer as you live the journey.

Its a look into the mentality of a 100% driven fighter that folds out as an emotional rollercoaster of triumph,
lessons learned, disapointment and overcoming some very confronting challenges and decisions
that pushes body and mind to the limit and beyond.

The second day ended on the biggest high possible with Justin Warren from Bunbury Martial Arts teaching us about how to break barriers.
I was so engrossed by his story of success and what it took to get there.
His dedication and discipline to the sport allowed him to defeat Australia’s champion with a broken foot.
However the empowerment did not end there. Justin challenged us all to ……………………………………………..
I cannot describe how amazing this feeling was…………………………………………………….

Ms Dawson said participants were fortunate enough to listen to a talk from Justin Warren from Bunbury Taekwondo, which was one of her favourite parts of the program.
“Justin represented Australia for Taekwondo and we heard all about his challenges and how he overcame them which were such a massive inspiration,” she said.
“He then taught us …………………………………………………………………..which was an experience I’ll never forget and never stop bragging about.”
